Engineer; is an advocate of a Treaty of Commerce between Great Britain and France, having moved resolutions on this subject at meetings of the Association of Chambers of Commerce of the United Kingdom. Has also taken an active part in the movement for Anglo-French Postal and Telegraphic Reform, and the reciprocal protection of British and French merchandise marks.
