Career

Admitted to Michigan bar, 1888. Moved to Los Angeles, California, 1889. Elected judge Los Angeles County Superior Court, 1905.

Presided at trial of Title Land cases, involving water front rights in Los Angeles harbor, trial of McNamara brothers for dynamiting Los Angeles Times Building Home: Los Angeles, California.
