In the office of Willis Polk, Mr. Crim formed a partnership with Earl Scott (Crim & Scott) and continued work under that firm name until 1911. In that year Mr. Scott withdrew to open an office in the Humboldt Building, while Mr. Crim began independent practice at 25 Kearny Street. Among his most important works in San Francisco were several Christian Science churches, one notable example the Second Church of Christ, Scientist; the El Capitan Theatre in the Mission District; and the Park Presidio School. He was also architect of the Town Hall at Los Gatos, and at the time of his decease had in preparation plans for the James Lick Junior High School in San Francisco.
