Architect for the Dublin Exhibition, 1872. St. James’s Hall, London, since 1871. Designed the Garrick, Terry’s, Court, Duke of York’s, Ipswich, Southampton Theatres.
Architect for several hotels, the Hotel Victoria, Newmarket, Hotel de l’Europe, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Hotel, Princes Restaurant, etc. Past President of Society of Architects, 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900. Retired from practice, 1906. Alderman City of Westminster and Mayor, 1903-1904; Justice of the Peace Company London; served as Mayor of Dover, 1907-1908-9-10.
