Career

Came to the United States, 1930, naturalized, 1935. Debut, United States stage, 1930. Star of stage plays, Meet My Sister, Music in the Air, Fanny, Maywine, I Married an Angel, My Three Angels, The First Gentleman.

Appeared in Broadway play, The Gazebo, 1958-1959. Appeared in motion pictures as actor for Radio-Keith-Orpheum Studios, 1942-1947. Pictures include: Once Upon a Honeymoon, Cornered, Sinbad the Sailor, Bedtime for Bonzo, White Witch Doctor, People Will Talk, Riff Raff and others, most recent title being Emil and the Detectives.
