Career
After playing for South Saint Paul High School in Minnesota, Miller enrolled at the University of Minnesota where he had a four-year collegiate career. Miller helped the Golden Gophers to two National Collegiate Athletic Association championship titles in his sophomore and senior years in 1974 and 1976. He played 262 games in the National Hockey League and 238 games in the World Hockey Association between 1977 and 1983.
He played for the Calgary Cowboys, Edmonton Oilers, Quebec Nordiques, New York Rangers, and Hartford Whalers.
Miller was a college hockey star for the University of Minnesota before turning professional.
