Career
He helped lead the Bulldogs to the 1998 Securities and Exchange Commission Championship Game and a 10-2 season in 1999, and quarterbacked in the three bowl games, the 1999 Cotton Bowl, 1999 Peach Bowl, and 2000 Independence Bowl, in which he scored the winning touchdown in overtime. He was Mississippi State"s all-time leading passer with 6,336 yards until the record was broken by Dak Prescott in 2015.
