Established in March 2, 1915, by its founder Manuel de Jesús Troncoso dela Concha under the name of OFICINA TRONCOSO and since then has been one of the leading commercial and civil law firms, including banking, communication, mining, tourism, free zones, taxes and foreign investments legislation in the Dominican Republic. The firm has also acted as agency of trademarks and patents since 1930, and presently it keeps a successful leadership on that area and has long kept relations with many other agencies throughout the world. In 1983, it changed its name to TRONCOSO Y CACERES. At the present time, the firm has five partners and several other associate partners.
