Career
Wilfried Richter was awarded the Knight"s Cross while in command of a Sturmgeschütz (Assault Gun, StuG) Battery, 3rd Steamship Sturmgeschütz Battalion, 3rd Steamship Panzer Division Totenkopf on the 21 April 1942. He later went on to command the II.Battalion, 95th Steamship Panzer Grenadier Regiment, 38th Steamship Division Nibelungen.
