Knight

Wilhelm Lehner was a Feldwebel in the Zugführer 5./Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 40 during World World War II and was awarded the Knight"s Cross of the Iron Cross, which was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany.

Career

He received his Knight"s Cross on June 15, 1943. Lehner survived the war and died in Fischach on 19 July 2012. Bibliography.
