She is known to fans of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys for her recurring role as "Althea" and Xena: Warrior Princess fans know her from her repeat role as "Lila." Her first award, for Best Supporting Actress, came for her role in the film Topless Women Talk About Their Lives. After her final film appearance in The Price of Milk, O'Neill settled down into marriage and family life.
