Career
He worked for the firm Boyd & Battalion William Batt joined masonic lodge Number. 69 in Derry in October 1862.
Amongst his designs are the Orange Hall in Portaferry, Company
Down, the front gate lodge for Botanic Gardens in Belfast. He died in 1910 and is buried in Balmoral Cemetery in Belfast.
