Career
Beacom is a 2012 graduate of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. He majored in Entrepreneurship. Beacom came to fame when he appeared on the December 1, 2006 episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, along with Danny DeVito and the band Silversun Pickups.

As of October 2011, William has put on approximately 115 "Duct Tape Shows" workshops" in which he demonstrates how to create household objects using only duct tape. These objects include wallets, shoes, flowers, and neckties.
