Bill Burgess is a Barrow Raiders Hall of Fame inductee. Bill Burgess was the father of rugby league football player Bill Burgess. Following his retirement from playing rugby league, Bill Burgess was the Landlord of the Washington Hotel, Roose Road, Barrow-in-Furness.
