Mr. Clarke went to Atlanta where he served five years as draftsman in the office of Francis P. Smith, afterward returned to Savannah. He maintained an office under the name of Levy & Clarke from 1916 until the time of his decease. During his practice he designed churches, schools, business structures and various works in the State, and in Savannah was associated with his partners on the following buildings: Exchange Branch Bank (1919) Benedictine Abbey (1924) and St. Paul's Lutheran Parish House and Sunday School Building (1924).
