He was a right-arm fast bowler who played for Kent. He was born in Chislehurst and died in Saint Mary Cray. Crowhurst made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1877 season.
From the tailend, Crowhurst scored a duck in the first innings in which he batted, and a single run in the second.
