Career
Delday ran for a seat to the Alberta Legislature in the 1959 Alberta general election. He stood as the Social Cr candidate in the electoral district of Bow Valley-Empress. The race was hotly contested between Delday and incumbent Modern Language Association Bryce Stringam.
Delday ran for a second term in the 1963 Alberta general election.
Delday retired from provincial politics at dissolution of the assembly in 1967.
