Emmanuel College.
He was born in 1878 and educated at Giggleswick School and Emmanuel College, Cambridge and ordained in 1902. His first posts were curacies at Holy Trinity Church, Cambridge and then Christ Church, Greenwich. Later he held incumbencies at Holy Trinity, Swansea, Street John's, Lowestoft and Street Luke’s, Finchley.
In 1928 he was appointed Assistant Bishop of Jamaica before promotion to be its Diocesan three years later.
He died on 21 February 1950.
