William Hodge also known as William T. Hodge was an American director, producer, performer and writer.

Hodge, William was born on November 1, 1874 in Albion, New York, United States. Son of Thomas and Mary (Anderson) Hodge.

Educational public schools.

Career

Began as property man in brother’s theatrical company, Pennsylvania, and became joint manager New York Comedy Company. First pronounced success was as the “Brazilian Heavy” in the musical comedy “The Reign of Error”. Created rôle Freeman Whitmarsh in “Sag Harbor,” 1899.

Later appeared in “The Sky Farm,” “Peggy from Paris,” “The Dream City,” “The Man from Home,” etc. Played “The Road to Happiness,” season of 1913-1914. In “Fixing Sister,” season 1915-1916.

“A Cure for Curables,” season 1917-1918. “For All of Us,” 1925-1926.
