He was married (May 24, 1883). His wife - Emma Nind. He has five children: Walter Nind Lacy, Foochow; Henry Vere Lacy, Futseng; Carleton Lacy, Shanghai; Wm. Irving Lacy, Yenping and Alice Lacy of Foochow who died October 14, 1921. They were all missionaries in China.
