Education
Studied at Clongoweswood College, County Kildare. Trinity College, Dublin. Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (took all prizes during student course there and at Meath Hospital).
Took 1st prize at Netley on entering Indian Medical Service, 30 March 1872.
Career
Served with Indian Contingent, Malta and Cyprus, 1878. Afghanistan, 1878-1880 (despatches, medal, and clasp), Hazara, 1888 (despatches, Indian medal, and clasp). Lushai, 1888-1889 (clasp).
