In 1893, as General Commercial Manager of the Roumanian State Maritime Service he created the International Wagon Lit Service (Orient and Ostende Express) mail extension by fast passenger steamers between Constanta via Constantinople and Alexandria.
In 1898, as Commercial Manager of the Heraclee Coal Mines at Constantinople he organized the fleet of colliers and sales department and the Washing, Coking and briquetting plants of these collieries.
In 1912, he organized the Branch Offices of the Associated British Manufacturers at Bucharest, Sofia, Belgrade, Athens and Constantinople.
In 1915-1916, he was Superintendent at Ministry of Munitions of all gun ammunition stores.
