Relief of Lucknow (horse shot), battle of Cawnpore, actions of Serai Ghat, Chanda, Umeerpore and Snltanpore, siege and capture of Lucknow, attack of the Moosabagh and action of Baree, Trans-Gogra campaign (despatches, medal with two clasps).
Served in the Horse Artillery, 1859-1863. New Zealand War, 1864. Campaigns on the Waikato and at Te Ranga, and attack on the Gate Pah (medal).
