He joined the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa) in the early 1990s. In 2000 he became the editor-in-chief of Bahra and the Chief Executive Officer of Ashur television in Dohuk. He established the Hammurabi Human Rights Organisation in 2006, which works to improve minority rights in Iraq.
He is also the webmaster of a number of websites including christiansofiraq.com.
