Nettleship, William Allan was born on December 2, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. Son of Anderson Nettleship and Mollie (Markley) O'Kane.

Bachelor, Columbia University, 1967. Master of Fine Arts, University Arkansas, 1972.

Career

Sculptor, designed and built public sculpture commissions, exhibited studio sculpture. Designer team projects Atlantic Boulevard Streetscape, Pompano Beach, Florida, 1997-2001, with Keith and Schnars, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, River Greenway, Sherman Oaks to Studio City, Los Angeles, 2000, with NUVIS Interstate 10 Corridor Art Plan, Coachella Valley, California, 1998, with Nancy Palmer, American Society of Landscape Architects. Old Cross Cut Canal Park, Phoenix, 48th St. between Indian School and McDowell, 1991-2002, with Howard, Needles, Tammen and Bergendoff.

Bales Lake Renovation, Blue Valley Park, Kansas City, 1988-1989, with George Butler Associates.
