Began as messenger, Commercial National Bank. Columbus, 1889; went to Colorado, 1891, and was with 1st National Bank, Del Norte, and Merchants & Miners Bank, Creede, until 1893. Returned to Columbus and became connected with Clinton National Bank.
Continued as note teller, 1900, of the Hayden-Clinton National Bank, of which was elected assistant cashier, 1905, and president, January 14, 1913, until sold to Huntington National Bank, May 3, 1923, when became vice president of latter. Vice-president, director Columbus Savings Bank. Director Columbus Railway Power & Light Company, Kanawha & Michigan Railway Company, Toledo & O. Central Railway Company, Mahoning Coal Railroad Company, Cincinnati, Sandusky & Cleveland Railroad Company Trustee Grant Hospital.
