Representative Fellow, 1910. Called to Bar, 1881; Mayor of Westmount,'Montreal, 1900-1901-2. Founded the Union of Canadian Municipalities, 1901.
Honourable President, 1904. Now Honourable Secretary. Metropolitan Parks Commissioner for Greater Montreal, 1910.
Founder of the Society of Can. Literature, Can. National League, etc. Originated Chateau de Ramezay Historical Museum, etc.
Vice-President Antiquarian Society of Montreal, Canadian Society of Authors, etc. Corresponding Member, Literary and Historical Society of Quebec, etc. Has introduced much municipal legislation into Parliament. King’s Counsel, barrister, author, publicist.
