William F. Quigley, is a retired Canadian lawyer, who specialized in the field of Civil Litigation, and a former Partner in the Calgary offices of Bennett Jones LLP.

Career
Articled at McLeod Dixon (Calgary) and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta on June 20, 1980 (Mr. Justice Francis H. Quigley presiding).
Continued his practice at McLeod Dixon until moving to the Calgary office of Bennett Jones LLP, a highly recognized leader, with offices serving clients country wide, as well as in offices internationally . The firm has specialists in all aspects of the Law including Corporate and Commercial, Energy and Natural Resources, Taxation, Litigation, International Trade, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking, Securities, Real Estate, Estate Planning, Environmental Competition, Regulatory and Intellectual Properties.
The origins of the firm date back to the 1890's, before the Province of Alberta came into existence. It was the Calgary law practice of Sir James Lougheed and Rifle Brigade R.B. Bennett.
The practice was reorganized in 1922 with Mr. Bennett (later Prime Minister of Canada, from 1930 to 1935), Alexander Hannah and P.L. Sanford as partners.
Bennett Jones has since grown to become one of the largest law firms in Canada, with offices across the country and in the Pacific Rim.
Bill left Bennett Jones in 2001 and continued to serve his clients faithfully until retiring in 2017.
From the 1990s to the 2000s, Bill was honored to be involved with, as a Chairman of, the Board of Calgary Parks Foundation.
