Career
Deacon and Priest, 1881. Arrived in Queensland, 1881. Was Vicar of Bowen, Charters Towers, and Townsville, and Canon of North Queensland.
Took part in the unsuccessful agitation for the erection of North Queensland into a separate colony, being Vice-President of the Separation Convention in Townsville, 1885, and Vice-President of the Separation League. Vicar of Hamilton, Victoria, 1894. Ballarat East, 1898- 1910. Archdeacon of Ballarat since 1898; Secretary of the Provincial Synod of Victoria.
