Member 55th to 62d Congresses (1897-1913), 11th Georgia District (declined renomination). In law practice as special counsel for railways in federal valuation, Washington, since 1913. Vice-president and general counsel Fruit Growers Express Company, Western Fruit Express Company, Burlington Refrigerator Express.
