King, William Henry was born on June 3, 1863 in Fillmore City, Utah, United States. Son of William and Josephine King.

Education

Educated Brigham Young Academy, and University of Utah. Bachelor of Laws, University of Michigan, 1887.

Career

Practiced law in Utah and surrounding states. Member Utah territorial legislature 3 terms, president upper body 1 term. Was county attorney, Utah County, city attorney, Provo City.

Appointed associate judge Supreme Court of Utah, 1894. Member 55th Congress (1897-1899). Declined renomination, but was elected as member 56th Congress to fill vacancy and served, April 25, 1900-March 3, 1901.

Choice of party for 58th and 59th Congresses (defeated), also of Democratic legislative caucus for United States Senate, 1905, 09. Member United States Senate, 4 terms 1917-1941. Delaware various Democratic National Convs.
