HUTTON, William Holden was born on May 24, 1800 in Gate Burton, Lincolnshire. 2nd son of Reverend George Hutton, Rector of Gate Burton, and Caroline, daughter of Robert Holden of Nuttall Temple, Nottinghamshire.

Career
Bampton Lecturer, 1903. Has filled various offices in the College and 1031 the University (Examiner, Senior Proctor, et cetera). Tutor of Saint John's till 1909.
Has also held office of Lecturer in Ecclesiastical History at Trinity College, Cambridge.
Was Examining Chaplain to Lord Alwyne Compton, late Bishop of Ely. Is Examining Chaplain to Bishop of Rochester.
Examiner for Lightfoot Scholarship at Cambridge, 1898-1899 and 190G-7. Select Preacher at Oxford, 1898-1900.
