William Juvenal Colville was a well-known spiritual leader. He lectured in the United States, England, Australia and wrote more than 20 works on spiritualism and other esoteric topics.
Background
Ethnicity:
William's parents are said to have Italian and French roots.
William Juvenal Colville variously claimed to have been born in England in 1857, 1859, 1860, or 1862 with the earliest date almost certainly the correct one. His father is said to be an Italian and his mother "a Frenchwoman, connected with one of the oldest and most influential families of France."
Education
According to William's memoirs, he attended a private preparatory school at intervals between the ages of eight and thirteen. That was all the scholastic training he ever received.
Career
Being impressed by esoteric teachings in his adolescence, William Juvenal Colville started to discover that topic and became a total proponent of their ideas. He not only lectured on spiritualism, occultism, theosophy, and other such things until his death but also took on writing. The first work, Inspirational Lectures, and Impromptu Poems, was published in London in 1884.

Quotations:
"The true road to prophetic heights is traversed by all who, in any capacity, no matter how humble or obscure, diligently live up to the highest truth perceived by them."
Personality
In his childhood, William was ruminative and somewhat peculiar as once he described himself in the Buffalo Weekly Express. Later, while touring various countries, Colville got the reputation of a person with a mysterious background because of how little it is known about his life.
