Was President of Scottish Clergy Society for two years. Rector of St. Columba’s, Largs; Synod Clerk of Glasgow and Galloway; Canon of Cumbrae Cathedral since 1890; Canon of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, 1908.
