Career

Member Michigan House of Representatives, 1896-1898. Active in bringing about reforms in state legislation, and introduced the 1st bill providing for general primary election reforms. Chairman of Commission on state public schools, commission on city corporations.

Active in securing important charter amendments affecting City of Detroit.
