Engineering departments General Electric Company, American Locomotive Company, Erie R.R., New York Air Brake Company, Keith Car and Manufacturing Company, 1907-1913. Assistant mechanic engineer, sales engineer Commonwealth Steel Company, 1913-1929.

Sales engineer General Steel Castings Corporation (successor to Commonwealth Steel Company), 1929-1931. Successively manager eastern district sales, 1931-1939, assistant vice president sales, 1940-1944. Assistant vice president 1944-1945, vice president since 1945.
