Young, William Muston Need was born on January 20, 1847. Son of Thomas Young, 2nd son of 1st Baronet and Mary J. Duncan, daughter of William Pitt Muston. Succeeded uncle Lord Lisgar in baronetcy, 1876.

One daughter Served Afghan War, 1S7S-79. Commanded F Company Rangoon Volunteer Battalion, 1882-1884. Served in Upper Burmah Campaign, 1885-1889 (medal and two clasps).
3rd Baronet, cartulary-register 1821. Justice of the Peace. Superintendent of Telegraphs in India (retired 1897).
