Graduated from the high school, Milford. Studied dentistry under father. Doctor of Medical Dentistry, Harvard Dental School, 1881.
Practiced in Boston, since 1881. Instructor in operative dentistry, 1887-1890, clinical lecturer, 1890-1892. instructor in crown and bridge work, 1892-1895, also in metallurgy, 1895-1900, assistant professor mechanic dentistry, 1900-1907, assistant professor prosthetic dentistry, 1907-1908, professor, 1908, professor preventive dentistry and oral hygiene, since 1918, Harvard Dental School, also member Administrative Board.
