Teacher art, Flint (Michigan) Public Schools, 1961-1966; teaching assistant, University of Wisconsin, Madison, 1967-1968; lecturer, University of Wisconsin, Madison, 1968; assistant professor art, University of Wisconsin, Fond du Lac, 1968-1989; associate professor art, since 1989.
