General engineer Georgia Power Company, Atlanta, 1931-1944, vice president charge major engineering projects from 1944, designed or supervised design of Burton, Tugalo, Yonah, Terrora and Nacoochee hydro-electric plants, and Atkinson Arkwright, Mitchell, Yates and Hammond steam-electric plants on Georgia Power Company System, (last one named in his honor).
Also rebuilt Morgan Falls. Designer hydroplants for Habersham Mills, Bibb Manufacturing Company, Roman Catholic Camp.
