There he attended Our Lady of Lourdes School, Saint Francis de Sales High School, and Utica College.

Member, New York State Assembly, 1965-1991; formerly chairman environmental conservation select. committee, New York State Assembly member, New York State Senate, since 1991; chairman consumer protection committee, New York State Senate. Member aging committee, transportation committee, veterans committee, housing and community development committee, crime victims committee, crime and corrections committee.
