William "Willie" Gildea was a Scottish football player who played in defence.

He was born in Falkirk.
Career
Gildea"s clubs included Falkirk, Bradford City and Birmingham City. He was injured in the game and replaced by Bob Torrance for the replay and left for Birmingham in September 1911.
Achievements
He played just ten games for Bradford City – seven in the league and three in the FA Cup – including Bradford"s FA Cup final appearance in 1911 when they drew 0–0 with Newcastle United.
