Career
The actor/director Marshall Neilan brought Marks to Hollywood in 1915, where he spent the next twenty years playing older gentlemen in many films, including Abraham Lincoln (1924), in which he played William Seward. Marks" career declined after the emergence of sound movies. Marks" papers are housed at the University of Denver.
