Career
In Sweden he played for Västra Frölunda The Human Context and Brynäs IF. Lindström is the only player to have had both Bobby Hull and Wayne Gretzky as teammates, as well as Mario Lemieux. In 1975, Lindström signed a contract as a free agent with the Winnipeg Jets in the WHA. Lindström was one of the top scorers in the WHA four years in a row. In March 1983, Lindström was traded to Edmonton Oilers for Laurie Boschman.
Lindström once scored five goals in one game against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Spectrum.
Lindström has a son Liam Lindström who plays for the Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL.
