Professor"s degree received in 1983. 1967-1969 fellowship at the Columbia University in New New York In 1969 he began working for the CAMK of Personal Area Networks in Warsaw, Poland, where from 1987-1992 he served as director
In 1997 he also became a professor of the Astronomical Observatory at the University of Warsaw.
Since 1989 coresspondent member of Polish Academy of Sciences (Personal Area Networks), since 2007 full member.
Married Anna Jaskowska. Children: Stefan Michal, Andrzej Stanislaw.
