Career
Until 2004 he was the head of the intellectics research group at the computer science department of the Darmstadt University of Technology. Wolfgang Bibel was born in Nuremberg, Germany. He was educated as a mathematician, obtaining a diploma in Mathematics in 1964 from Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematical Logic in 1968, also from Ludwig-Maximilian University.
