Career
He joined the Nazi Party on 1 July 1930 (Membership number 269 306), in which he first took over the duties of a district leader in Oels. After the Nazis seized power in 1933, he was a group leader of the German Federation of East Silesia. In the general election on 29 March 1936 he again ran for a seat but received no mandate.
