Wolfram Haenel studied at Free University of Berlin in 1978-1981. Then he graduated from University of Hannover and received a teaching degree in 1983.
Wolfram Heinel has worked as a photographer and graphic artist since 1983 at Landestheater Hannover in Hannover, Germany. He held this position until 1985. From 1985 to 1986 he was a secondary school teacher at the Gymnasium of Georg Büchner in Hanover. He was also a copywriter, photographer and graphic artist in 1986-1988. He worked as a public relations manager in the lawyer network in Hanover in 1993-94.
