Career
As of 2003 and 2006 he was of the New Party of the Republic of China in Taiwan and served as a legislator. In 2003 he and Sisy Chen joined the People First Party (PFP) legislative caucus. However, he lost the election.

By 2007 he was a legislator with the Kuomintang. On 12 January 2008, he joined the 2008 Republic of China legislative election as a Kuomintang candidate from Kinmen constituency.
