She was 17 at the time. Following her retirement from competitive skating, she became a coach. Her current and former students include Huang Xintong & Zheng Xun, Guo Jiameimei & Meng Fei, Yu Xiaoyang & Wang Chen, and Qi Jia & Sun Xu.
